Nusenda Credit Union Financial Capabilities Curriculum
We have always been committed to supporting financial literacy efforts for adults and youth in the communities we serve. Our financial education programs are aimed at providing individuals and families the information needed to act and make sound financial decisions to ensure healthy financial futures. Enjoy our 18 comprehensive modules (over 100 hours!) of education content, covering a multitude of topics including budgeting, saving, credit, buying a house, credit cards, cost of college, and much more. Topics can be mixed and matched as necessary, allowing ease of use and adaptability.
This curriculum is the only one in the state of New Mexico that is aligned with Common-Core state standards; which cover requirements in math, history/social studies, science, technical subjects, English language arts, and college/career readiness.
